To make the stir-fry, heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add two or three tablespoons of the vegetable broth and heat briefly. Add oil, swirling to coat sides. For my Chinese mixed vegetable stir fry I used broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, baby sweetcorn, sugar snap peas and asparagus. I find the combination of sweet and bitter tasting vegetables ideal for a Chinese stir fry.
