- Drain pasta then add all the other cooked ingredients and sauce into the pan, mix well and serve.
I had some leftover cooked butternut squash and and made this savory pasta sauce. It is tasty over ravioli or any whole grain pasta. While the butternut squash is roasting, cook the pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving ½ cup of the cooking liquid. Once the squash is tender, remove and transfer to a blender with the garlic and shallots with chicken stock.
