Fry the bacon and onions over a moderate heat until golden brown. Tip the pasta into a sieve, leave to drain briefly, then mix with the cabbage in the. Add the chopped onions and soften, then add the minced garlic and cabbage and stir fry it all together. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp.

  1. Slice bacon into 1cm pieces. Thinly slice onions or leeks, and roughly chop cabbage into bite-size pieces.
