Coat them well with salt and turmeric. Apply salt, red chili powder and turmeric evenly in the slits. Apply the paste over the entire body of the fishes.

- Wash and clean the fish properly. Slit the fish horizontally from both the sides of the bones.
- In a mixing bowl add ginger garlic paste coriander paste red chilli powder, turmeric powder salt add kokum juice and mix well.
- Now stuff the fish with the green masala. Keep for marination for 10 to 15 min.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a frying pan.Dust the marinated fish from both the sides with jowar flour. (this is optional) if you don’t want to coat the fish with flour you can skip.
- Fry the fish on medium flame from both the sides till golden brown.
- Remove it from the pan and serve hot with some salad.
